There are eight categories for pelt competition. You may enter one plet in each of the following categories:
Beaver
Otter
Mink
Raccoon
Fox
Coyote
Bobcat
Group of Five
The eighth category, Group of Five maybe made u of any combination of the first seven species or any four plus muskrat ro make a total of five pelts.
RULES:
You must be a paid up member of T.A.N.S. and present your membership card when registering
No fur will be accepted after the announced deadline for entry
Fur prepared at the two day workshop is not eligible for competition
All claws must be removed from pelts
All pelts entered must be completely dry including ears
There will be no handling of the fur after entry, due to possible damage to the pelts
** Fur can be collected after the judging has taken place **
